Steps for Licensure
- Certify Commercial Device(s): *Devices shall be tested, inspected and certified, i.e., display a NH certification stamp.
- Be sure devices are legal-for-trade;
- Contact a licensed New Hampshire service technician to have your device(s) certified. Once devices are certified, the technician will give you an inspection report form showing the devices have been certified in accordance with RSA 438 (weights and measures laws);
- See the List of Licensed New Hampshire Service Technicians or see "Required Forms and Related Information" below.
- Complete the Initial Device License Application

- Submit the "Inspection Report Form" that the licensed service technician gives you to expedite processing.
- Submit the Initial Device License Application Form and Copies of the Inspection Report Form(s)to:

- Upon receipt of your completed application, an invoice will be generated;
- Pay the invoice and a license will be sent via email or USPS;
