Pesticide Registration

All pesticides sold within the state are registered with the Division. This process relies upon federal EPA regulations for pesticide labeling which include registration numbers, active ingredient description, signal word requirements, personal protection statements, environmental concerns, first aid statements and disposal statements. It is important to note that although some products might be covered under a 25(b) exemption through EPA, these products must still be registered in NH. The state registration process requires categorizing each product as a restricted, general or specialty/household use.
