How to register a pesticide with the state of New Hampshire.

blooming black-eyed susans

Pesticides sold within New Hampshire are registered with the Division. This process relies upon federal EPA regulations for pesticide labeling which include registration numbers, active ingredient description, signal word requirements, personal protection statements, environmental concerns, first aid statements and disposal statements. It is important to note that, although some products might be covered under a federal exemption [Section 25(b) of the federal law] these products must still be registered in New Hampshire. The state registration process requires that each product be categorized as a restricted, general or specialty/household use pesticide.
